Behavior Essentials

The Behavior Essentials is a three session, eighteen hour professional development to help school staff understand and change behavior.  Consecutive attendance in all three sessions of Behavior Essentials is required prior to attending any of the Targeted Intervention Trainings being offered throughout the school year. Additionally, the Essentials are required in 2019-20 for the development of future school district BX3 teams that will receive in depth training and coaching toward building local capacity.

Instructional and Behavioral Strategies

Instructional and Behavioral strategies

These trainings focus on targeted instructional and behavioral strategies for students exhibiting moderate or severe behaviors (formerly Tier II or Tier III). 
 
Evidence-based strategies that can be incorporated into your school's current tiered system of behavior supports will be covered. 
 
Completion of the three Behavior Essentials listed above may be required prior to registering for some of the more advanced professional development on instructional and behavioral strategies.
